Hello! I'm Halee, the proud owner and founder of Happy Hoomans, based in the charming town of Princeton, Texas. I live with my husband, our adorable daughter Evie, and our gentle giant of a Great Pyrenees, Jax! In my free time I enjoy trips to the dog park, spending time with family, and watching movies. My journey to pet care entrepreneurship began after a decade-long tenure at Chick-fil-A, where I honed my skills as an Operations Director. While the transition from chicken to canines may seem unconventional, it's been a seamless and joy-filled endeavor. With a lifelong passion for animals, founding Happy Hoomans Pet Care felt like a natural evolution. Drawing from my extensive experience, I've equipped myself with the necessary certifications, including pet first aid and CPR, and secured insurance to ensure the utmost safety and well-being of every precious pet under my care. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood, or a cozy cuddle session at home, rest assured that your beloved fur baby is in the most loving and capable hands.
Daniel is a full-time General Manager at Chick-fil-A while also co-owning Happy Hoomans! His role entails overseeing various aspects of operations as well as pickups, drop-offs, boardings, visits, and house-sitting. With a lifelong affinity for animals, Daniel grew up surrounded by weiner dogs and is now a dad to a 100 pound Great Pyre named Jax, and a spunky cat named Truett. Outside of work, he cherishes spending time with his family. He finds solace in camping trips and holds a special place in his heart for visits to Colorado. Daniel’s multifaceted interests and unwavering commitment make him a valuable asset to our team!
Stevie works full time as a Registered Behavior Therapist, helping children with autism and developmental disabilities thrive through ABA therapy, fostering crucial skills like communication and socialization. Beyond her professional dedication, Stevie's compassionate spirit extends to her involvement with Happy Hoomans, where she walks a pack of “littles” (dogs under 15 pounds) on one hour nature walks every Saturday morning. As an avid animal lover herself, she shares her life with two cherished cats, Ophelia and Captain, often embarking on adventures with her husband, Chris, and Captain in their cat backpack. When not enriching the lives of others, Stevie enjoys quality time with friends, varies culinary pursuits, hosting gatherings, and indulging in her passion for crocheting. With her nurturing nature and diverse interests, Stevie is sure to provide exceptional care for your furry companions as well!
Meet Jaxson Rae Beck, affectionately known as Jaxy Poo! This gentle giant Pyrenees has stolen the hearts of many and became an integral part of our team (hence the logo). Jax is always up for an adventure, whether it's a hike in the mountains or a cozy cuddle on the couch. While Jax's mischievous side may have led to a few casualties (RIP to my AirPods and countless other belongings), his boundless love and loyalty make it all worth it. He's not just a pet; he's a cherished member of our family, bringing joy, laughter, and endless love into our lives every day. When your furry friend boards with us, joins a group walk, or attends daycare, Jax will be there to make sure they feel right at home, offering companionship, playtime, and endless tail wags.
Maddie
Maddie's reputation precedes her as an active dog sitter on Rover, boasting heaps of glowing reviews! Maddie holds a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas where she was also a part of the Pom Squad! She is happily married to her husband Shane since 2022, and they're proud PAWrents to their 3 fur children Sadie, Pepper, and Penny! When she's not snuggled up with her pups, you'll find Maddie catching the latest flicks at Cinemark, practically having a reserved seat there, going 2 to 3 times a week!
Something special about Maddie is that she’s a cancer survivor whose life motto became “Choose joy" once she was diagnosed. Enduring numerous life-altering surgeries that reshaped her future trajectory, she found solace in embracing joy every day, regardless of life's twists and turns. One of her greatest sources of joy? Spending time with animals, which never fails to lift her spirits!!
Sarah
Sarah is an accomplished professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Purdue. She brings extensive experience from her three years as a General Manager and Multi-Unit Manager at Panda Express, where she excelled in leadership and operational efficiency. Beyond her impressive career, Sarah has a genuine passion for animals. She has experience pet sitting on Rover and has been caring for friends’ pets for years. Sarah has a 6-year-old Labradoodle named Benji, who is a beloved part of her life. In her free time, Sarah enjoys watching movies, building Lego sets, and gardening. Sarah assists with visits and walks, bringing her enthusiasm and care to each pet she meets.
Kasie
Kasie (affectionately known as Mama K), left her job in the dental industry to join us here at Happy Hoomans on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays! She assists with visits, dog boarding, daycare, pet taxi rides, weddings, and dog washes! Mama K currently has two Goldendoodles named Sam and Sophie! In her free time she loves catching snakes, frogs, turtles, spiders and just about anything else you can think of! She has been known to leave food out for the neighborhood birds and raccoons and to rescue any stray she sees on the side of the road. When you meet her, you’ll be charmed by her thick Southern accent, quirky sense of humor, genuine heart for people, and of course, her love for animals!
